Description - Fine 1930s French or Austrian Art Deco solid silver cigarette case of rectangular form with hinged lid and thumb piece

Front side embellished with a creamy white guilloche enamelling flanked by black enamel, there is also silver mounted marcasite decoration the other side has engined turned decoration,

interior has silver-gilt.  
 
Import hallmarks with the London import stamp for 925/ 1000 or above silver fineness,  date letter "p" for the year 1930 and the maker/ importer's mark "F.B.R" which is F B Reynolds

Condition - In very good condition, no enamel damage just minor surfacescratches that are hard to notice, there is a tiny dink to the rear botton edge (see end photograph)

hinge and clasps in perfect working order closing the case securely
