Struts are the main component of a modern independent suspension system, they are what "suspend" the body and frame of your vehicle above the wheels. All the weight of your vehicle rests on your struts, which transfers the weight via several other components, to the wheels. Struts have at least two components, a spring and a shock absorber and many have a third component, the swivel mount. The shock absorber's main function is to dampen vibrations. Despite its name, a shock absorber doesn't absorb shock directly, that's the job of the spring, rather, it is engineered to stop the vehicle from bouncing up and down after a bump. Due to its weight-bearing design, a strut must be much stronger than a normal shock absorber. There is a difference between Genuine and OEM/OE Supplier brands. A Genuine part is a part in the auto manufacturer's original box with their logo on the box. OEM/OE Supplier is a brand licensed by the vehicle manufacturer and the part will not come with the vehicle manufacturers logo on it.

OEM/OE Supplier parts are often the same you'd get at the dealership, just in the different box. We do not accept returns based on these discrepancies.

Due to globalization, we do not accept returns based solely on where a part is manufactured. Brands are often manufactured in multiple countries.
