Tatsunoko vs. capcom fight stick comes with box, no manual, styrofoam, or inserts. Box does contain flaws, and joystick does have damage to the top left corner of the face plate as shown in the photos.

Hori fight stick comes loose, but very clean.

Game and fight sticks have all been tested, and work.
