Fabulous 1950s vintage black Vanity Fair full slip.  Size marked is 36 (see measurements below).

Sheer (very!) pleated cups with lace trim, with the same pleased trim at the hem.  Vintage slips are great to wear as a nightie.

Great vintage condition.  No stains, snags, pulls or damage.  Pleated cups and trim are in excellent condition as well.  Straps are fully functional and the adjusters move easily.

Material is listed as Nylon Tricot, and the tag is embroidered, not printed, so I estimate this to be early 1950s.  Vanity Fair first started using nylon tricot in 1948. Style number of this piece is 3-8-3.

I estimate this to be a size small, with a cup size of approximately B or C.  Measurements (see photos for reference) are taken from front, with garment lying flat unless noted.
Chest - 16”
Under bust - 14”
Length (from back) bottom of strap to edge of hem - 36”
