Description: Obverse: Crowned eagle with wings open (new coat of arms). Beneath eagle – year of issue. Circular inscriptions: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (above) and 5 ZŁOTYCH 5 (beneath). Under right leg of eagle – sign of Warsaw Mint. 
Reverse: Woman’s head left wearing a Renaissance-inspired headdress, surrounded by rays of wheat (allegory of Poland, the design is sometimes erroneously called the 'Jadwiga' design, after a Polish queen who ruled in the late 1300s. The portrait of Janina Morstinowa).750 standard silver. Diameter – 28 mm. Weight – 11 g. Edge – incised. Mintage: 250000. Designer – Anton Madeiskiy. The coin with date '1932' was put in circulation since 31.10.1932. A part of mintage without Mint mark was minted at Great Britain Mint (London).This type of coin was struck in 1932 – 1934, withdrawn from circulation since 21.12.1939.
