Delivery through the pallet network

Whilst we do everything in our power to get orders delivered on time. There becomes a point where our reputation lies solely in the hands of the pallet network and due to the current driver shortage, unfortunately around 5% of all orders sent out do not arrive on the requested day.

The delivery dates given are not guaranteed they are requested dates only.

We will not be held liable for any missed delivery dates and will not pay compensation as a result.

We advise against planning any work the day your order is due to arrive.

The day of delivery

Delivery is to kerbside only.
It will be an all-day slot from 8am - 6pm.

On the day you will receive a text message with an eta two-hour window, you may only receive this one hour before the lorry arrives. In some cases, you may not receive any notification as to the eta.

The order will arrive on a curtain side lorry with a tail lift. The driver will lower the pallets down and pull them into place with a pallet truck.

If you have good access and a smooth surface, e.g. a block paved driveway, tarmac or concrete, the driver will pull them as far as they can until the pallet truck stops.

If you have an uneven/loose material like stone or shingle, then the driver will not be able to leave the pallets on this surface and they will be left at the kerbside.

If you refuse to have the pallets left at the kerbside and there is a failed delivery, you will have to cover the costs of the delivery charge.

If you ask the driver to pull onto your property. It is at your own risk and we will not be held accountable for any damage to your property, as the vehicles weigh in excess of 18,000kg and there could be a risk of them sinking or braking manhole covers that are not designed to take the weight of a lorry.

It will be down to you to claim off your own insurance for any damage.

Quality control

Before any of our products are sent out, they go through quality-controlled checks to insure they are not damaged.

They will be packed safely and securely ready for delivery.

Payment terms

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

If other arrangements have been made to pay on delivery, then a deposit will be required before the lorry leaves the warehouse, and the goods will not be taken off the lorry until payment has been made in full.

Returns

If you are not happy with the product and wish to return, then collection must be booked within two days and will be at the customer’s expense.

All items must be in original packaging un-damaged and be secured correctly on the pallets

Reporting damages

We ask you to check and report any damages with photo evidence within 48 hours of receiving your goods.

After this time, we will not be held liable as the haulage company only allows claims to be made within 48 hours after delivery is accepted.

If you notice any damage when the goods arrive, please write this on the driver’s delivery sheet.

Photos must be taken with the whole consignment clearly in view, we will not accept photos of items on their own.
