1999 Charles Woodson Oakland Raiders Nike NFL Pro Line Away Authentic Jersey Sz 48 XL

Sir Charles Woodson is on the short list of the greatest defensive football players of all time. He was a dominant athlete for the Michigan Wolverines in the late 90s. Much like Deion Sanders before him he played on both sides of the ball but excelled on defense. After becoming the only primarily defensive player to win the Heisman Trophy he was drafted # 4 overall in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Raiders where his legend was just getting started.

He made the Pro Bowl in his first four seasons with Oakland including two 1st Team All Pro selections. After a few injury plagued years in the mid-2000s, Woodson was available as a free agent in the Spring of 2006. He signed with the Green Bay Packers where he played his greatest stretch of football and possibly the greatest stretch of any defensive back in NFL history. In just 7 seasons with Green Bay he accumulated 38 interceptions, 9 defensive touchdowns, 4 Pro Bowl nods, 2009 NFL DPOY and 2010 Super Bowl championship. He finished off his last three years back with the Raiders as a safety and even finished his last and final year with a Pro Bowl selection.

Shown here is a late 90s Nike retail authentic run of Charles Woodson's away Raiders jersey with stitched names and numbers. Made in El Salvador and the tagging on the inside shows model # F9-PRX which puts this as a year two Woodson authentic.

Jersey is in mostly good shape for being 25 years old. There is some fading on the side panels that is common with these all white jerseys. Also has some small yellow stains on the side panels that are faint (see pics). Size 48 which is a XL and measures 31" from top to bottom and 22.5" from pit to pit.

This would be an essential addition for any Woodson fan or 90s collector to have.
