Description
A fine quality antique William IV solid sterling silver vinaigrette. Rectangular shaped body with smooth concaved sides, beautiful bright cut hand chased foliate decoration on the top surrounded by a foliate decorated repoussé border. Hand chased foliate decoration on the underside & a rectangular monogrammed cartouche on the top. Nice tight fitting hinged lid which when opened reveals the internal hinged filigree sponge holder. Fully hallmarked on the inside bottom & lid. lovely clean example from the fine quality maker of these vinaigrette's.
