Solder Soldering Iron Tips Standard Size Accessories Electrical Parts 900M-T

                                                 Product Description:

Soldering iron tips for 900M Series:

- Type I: Characteristics: Small tip. Application: Suitable for fine soldering, or soldering in narrow space, also can correct the solder bridge when soldering chips.

 - Type B / LB (conical): Characteristics: Type B tip is non-directional, the entire tip can be soldered. LB type is a kind of B type, with slender shape. It can be operated flexibly in the soldering environment where there is a high component around the soldering point or the soldering space is narrow. Range of application: Suitable for general soldering, regardless of the size of the soldering joints, can also be used B-type soldering iron head.

D type / LD type (one word batch tip shape): Characteristics: Use the batch tip part for soldering. Application: Suitable for soldering that requires a large amount of tin, such as large soldering area, thick terminals, and large soldering pads.

C type / CF type (slant-cut cylindrical): Characteristics: Use the slanting part of the tip for soldering, suitable for soldering that requires a large amount of tin, CF type tip only has a tin plating layer on the slanting part of the tip, only the slanting part of the tip can be coated with tin when soldering, so the amount of tin coated will be different from the C type tip, depending on the needs of soldering and selection. Application range: C type soldering iron tip has similar application range as D type, such as large soldering area, thick terminals and large soldering pads. 0.5C, 1C/CF, 1.5CF and other iron tips are very fine, suitable for soldering small components, or to correct the surface soldering produced by the tin bridge, tin pillars and so on. If only a small amount of solder is required, it is better to use CF type soldering iron tips with tin plating on the bevelled side only. 2C/2CF, 3C/3CF type soldering iron tip, suitable for soldering resistors, diodes and other components, large pitch SOP and QFP can also be used 4C/4CF, suitable for large terminals, circuit board grounding. Power supply part and other welding occasions that require greater heat.

Type K: Features: Use knife-shaped part of the soldering, vertical or pull soldering can be soldered, is a multi-purpose soldering iron head. Application: Suitable for soldering SOJ, PLCC, SOP, QFP, power supply, grounding components, correcting solder bridges, connectors, and so on. H type: Characteristics: The tin layer is on the bottom of the tip. Application scope: suitable for pull soldering type soldering tooth distance is large SOP, QFP. How to choose: First, the size: 1, the size of the soldering joints: according to the size of the soldering joints to choose the appropriate soldering iron head can make the work smoother. The iron head is too small, the temperature is not enough. Too large, there will be a large number of dissolved solder, tin amount of control difficulties. 2, the degree of density of the soldering point: in the more dense circuit board for welding, the use of finer iron tip can reduce the formation of tin bridge opportunities. Second, the shape: 1, the type of soldering components: different types of electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, SOJ chips, SOP chips, the need for different soldering iron tip to improve efficiency. 2, the soldering point of contact with the degree of ease: such as the location of the soldering point by some of the higher electronic components around and difficult to contact, you can use the shape of the longer and thinner soldering iron tip. 3, the amount of tin needs: the need for more tin, can use the tin-plated layer of the surface area of a larger iron head.

 The iron head maintenance method

1, choose the right tin line Soldering should be used 63% -37% lead content of the solder, and often to the tin layer to protect the soldering iron head. In addition, you should also try to choose thicker wire for soldering work, because the thicker wire on the soldering iron head has a better protection.
2. Keep the soldering iron head clean Use a moist special cleaning sponge to wipe off the flux, old tin and oxides on the soldering iron head. After each use, be sure to clean the oxides on the head of the soldering iron, and then add new tin on the soldering iron head of the tin layer.
3. Always apply a layer of tin to the surface of the soldering iron tip. This reduces the chance of oxidisation of the tip and makes the tip more durable. After use, should wait until the humidity of the soldering iron is slightly reduced before applying a new layer of tin, the use of tin-plated layer to achieve better anti-oxidation effect.
4. Put the soldering iron on the soldering iron rack When you don't need to use the soldering iron, you should carefully put the soldering iron on the appropriate soldering iron rack, so as to avoid the soldering iron to be damaged by the collision.
5. Clean up oxides immediately When black oxides or rust are present in the tin layer, the soldering iro
