HERKERT & Meuse trunk Co sample trunks and cases railway express trunk jeff city Mo. I. Found this piece along with more in a/the old shoe factory across from the penitentiary in Jefferson City MO. This is a trunk/case that was used on the railroad system how cool! Exterior is in remarkably good shape for its age and is solid lining on the inside is well. Doesn’t have the exterior straps that were originally there to hold case together. Presents very well.
