SAILOR Naginata Togi Fountain Pen

Description

■SAILOR Naginata Togi Fountain Pen
Sailor fountain pens are made with a focus on writing quality, and have been made by master craftsmen who have inherited traditional techniques and have focused their efforts on creating the ultimate nib. As a result, we have been able to earn such trust and recognition that people say, "Sailor is the nib of fountain pens.''
It has an excellent writing feel and a solid feel that allows you to enjoy the real pleasure of using a fountain pen. This proud nib is a masterpiece that only a skilled craftsman can make.
■Naginata togi
In order to write kanji that have a lot of tome, hang, and bulge in the most beautiful way, the pen has the feature that you can draw thick lines when you lay it down, and thin lines when you hold it upright.
Compared to a standard nib with the same character width, Naginata togi is thicker.
■History of “Naginata togi” development
Naginata togi, which has been passed down since its founding in 1911, temporarily disappeared as fountain pens became mass produced after the war and nib processing became more mechanized, but its craftsmanship has been inherited by pen craftsmen Gunichi Koyama and Nobuyoshi Nagahara. I'm here.
Around 1991, based on customer feedback, Nobuyoshi Nagahara revived the modern Naginata sharpening method by further improving the sharpening method used at the time of its founding, with the aim of creating a "fountain pen that can be written at an angle.
