OVERVIEW

The Power King Super Traction II is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks.

The model features continuous zigzag ribs that extend to the shoulders. The rib placement works with the void areas to allow the tire to easily conquer soft and loose terrains. Many biting edges enable superb grip on uneven surfaces. The void areas and the zigzag tread pattern give the model the self-cleaning ability, further upgrading off-road driving.

The ribs offer a large road-to-rubber ratio, enhancing dry road grip. The groove placement and the open shoulder give the tire the ability to channel water and slush from under the footprint, averting hydroplaning. The rib edges create many biting edges to strongly grip snowy roads and improve light winter performance. The compound keeps the rubber flexible, boosting traction all year round.

The tread pattern ensures exceptional surface contact, increasing controllability and driving stability. This means that the tire is very responsive and precise to the driver’s commands. The open shoulder design helps improve maneuvering. The tread buttress stabilizes the shoulder elements, delivering better cornering and braking. As a result, the model has superb on- and off-road handling.

The model sports a bias-ply construction. This in combination with the internal reinforcements makes the tire strong. As such, it can equally distribute pressure along the model’s circumference. This prevents pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas and reduces the chance of tread deformation. Thanks to these elements, the tire has enhanced load durability. The sturdy sidewalls also help in withstanding heavy loads and minimizing flexing while driving.

The Power King Super Traction II has an elongated tread life. The robust construction keeps the tire’s best shape. The ideal model shape is further maintained with the reinforced sidewalls. This works with the tire’s constant surface contact and the strong compound in securing even tread wear. The self-cleaning ability also lowers the possibility of tread damage, resulting in the model’s prolonged service life.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
