Woo-hoo! This is the GOOD STUFF! These are the ORIGINAL release cards set up for Basic & Advanced play only! This 24 card Strat Baseball team is in Very Good to Excellent condition, inventoried, sorted, & complete! They have obvious signs of wear but they are rested, tested, & ready to play again! This is a great PLAYER'S set!
1. 11 cards (Bonds, Nettles, Chambliss, Munson, Hermann, Alomar, Medich, Gura, Williams, White, & Bladt) all have off data erased pencil on their Basic sides. Man, did the kids form this era love to write on their cards! 7 have wear spots in the 1 column on the Basic side from being held during years of play. No game data affected whatsoever.
2. Lyle & Tidrow's cards both have small light off data spots. Tidrow has 2 on his Basic side above the team name & below the 5 column while Lyle has it on his Advanced side below the 4 column vs. RHB. No game data affected whatsoever. Their flip sides are perfect.
3. Williams' card has a light crease at the bottom of his Basic side through his stats. It is imperceptible on the Advanced side. No game data affected whatsoever.
4. Dobson's card has very light rubber band residue on the Basic side at 4-12 & 5-10. All game data is really easy to read & highly playable. His Advanced side has an off data mark near the top of his card & an off data spot at the bottom below his data vs. RHB. No game data affected whatsoever.
5. T. Martinez & Dempsey's cards both have off data pen marks on their Basic sides. T. Martinez has it just above the team name near the right edge while Dempsey has a thin light mark above his stats & below his 3 column. No game data affected whatsoever.
The are 18 cards in Very Good condition with the remaining 6 in Excellent condition.
These were printer cut & hand collated cards produced by Strat-O-Matic before going to the perforated, tear-'em & sort-'em yourself format. They are in spectacular condition especially for being 48 years old!!!
