This is an unusual and very unique "S-shaped" serving bowl or tray. Its about 12 inches long and 2.5-inches tall (the interior is about 1.5 inches deep). Made from wood, hand-made and hand-lacquered with traditional black and gold. Lotus flower decoration all around the perimeter. It has practically no damage to the finish (no cracking) inside and out other than a few small chips and cracks, mainly on the feet, and along the bottom edge you can see where the tiny nails are showing.
My family lived in Burma in the 1970's so its at least that old, but most likely much older. I think we used it as a nut or candy dish! Please see all the pictures!
