Jubilee 2012 Souvenir Tin Walkers Shortbread Rectangular 27.5 x 20.5 x 5cm
This
is a genuine original souvenir tin from Walkers Scottish Shortbread issued to
commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012.
The
tin is in excellent condition, as new. The lid is separate from the tin and closes
tightly with a satisfying ‘snap’. The tin is painted and patterned all over
with a lovely mauve/silver design. The decoration to the lid is embossed. On
the lid and sides of the tin it reads:
To Celebrate
THE QUEEN’S DIAMOND JUBILEE
60 YEARS 1952 - 2012
The
lid features a beautiful photograph of Her Majesty in an oval cartouche. She is
wearing many diamonds and looks very happy. The base of the tin has further
photographs and information regarding The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
The
original tissue napkin is also included – this has sustained one or two small
marks but is otherwise quite presentable.
This
is a useful tin for sewing/craft, stationery equipment and oddments. A lovely
practical souvenir from Diamond Jubilee year.
