You are bidding on a fantastic vintage rare postcard showing the Centenario Stadium which built specifically for the First Soccer World Cup held in Montevideo, Uruguay. This was the first ever stadium in the world to be built to held a World Cup. It was finished in only 8 months, an unbelievable short time even for today's standards. The architect was Mr. Scasso. It was called Centenario because it was completed exactly 100 years after the independence process of Uruguay.

This postcard is circa 1930s - 1940s aprox.

The text at the back is written in French.

Size: It is 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"  approximately.

Condition:

Condition is very good as observed.

Minimal discoloration and minimally bent corners can be expected.
