This listing is for an unusual Apache Tear natural specimen which weighs approximately 38.5 grams and measurements taken at the widest points are approximately 38 mm x 27 mm x 24 mm, and it comes from the USA.

The pictures show different sides of the natural specimen, and this is a natural product which may contain natural matrix, etc so please check the pictures (please note the pictures are a close up of the crystal and NOT the actual size) properly before purchasing.

UK postage for this crystal is FREE.

Apache tears originate from siliceous lava flows, lava domes or ash-flow tuffs, often in close association with or embedded in, gray perlite. The spherules occur as cores within perlite masses that typically exhibit texture of concentrically curved, onion-skin fractures. Formation is apparently related to differential cooling and various alkali and water contents. Excessive water present during cooling and quenching of rhyolitic lava causes obsidian to hydrate (i.e., water entering the obsidian glass converts it to perlite). Where perlite is incompletely hydrated, fresh obsidian cores remain as pebbles of marekanite, or Apache tears

Apache Tear is a form of black obsidian, but it is much gentler in its effects.  It still brings up negativity but does so slowly so that it can be transmuted.  An Apache Tear is excellent for absorbing negative energy and for protecting the aura.  It is so named because it is believed to shed tears in times of sorrow.  It comforts grief, provides insight into the source of distress, and relieves long held grievances.  This stone stimulates analytical capabilities and promotes forgiveness.

The crystal in the picture's is the one you will receive.
