We just received in about 200 reels of 5" reel to reel tapes, that originally came from the CBC.(Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) These are all tapes from the 1960s and 1970s. Non back coated tape, so no SSS problems. Various brands, Ampex, 3M, Scotch, EMI, PanCanada, and some no name brands such as Bel Cleer, etc.
From the titles we looked through, most have jazz and big bands recorded on them, also recorded from albums that the CBC had apparently at their location.

We understand that some tapes may have some splices on them, as the CBC would assemble radio programs from various sections of tape to form one long program. Short of a couple of tapes that we played, these tapes are untested. Some reels will be 600', 900',  etc. The odd reel may not be quite full, however we'll make sure that you get a good cross section with each lot of 10 purchased.
