A 19th century Mettlach stoneware tankard, featuring a detailed tavern scene with a bowler. It is signed by the artist 'C. Worth' and marked on the base.

It's a half litre tankard, as marked near the pewter lid, and is 23cm in height. It appears in good condition. A fantastic piece for collectors of barware and German steins.
