Handmade Folk Art BUMBLE BEE Doll.  Artist Made, original but unsigned.  Head, arms and legs are made of firmly stuffed painted Oilcloth, with handmade clothing including unhemmed pantaloons, raw-linen (or raw-linen-look) underskirt, with crocheted trim, unhemmed homespun dress, topped by another homespun jumper, and a cotton apron, with painted flowers and polymer clay "flower blooms".  I could never figure out what the wings are made of, but they are stiff, with ridged lines for realism.   I bought her at a primitive show and she will be so much fun to have in your home for spring and summer decor, and throughout the year.  

SIZE: Bee is about 22 1/2" long.  

CONDITION:   As made.  Perhaps inconsistencies. 2 of the polymer "flower blooms" are missing on the aprong.  Clothing is meant to be "shabby" with unhemmed edges for that rustic look.    Perfect for Springtime Decor, or any time .  Just so cute and unique!  And please check out all my other items listed. .
