Handmade Oak Butchers block kitchen island, all from reclaimed timber and crafted for a quality piece of furniture.

The Frame is all pine painted egg shell blue.

Top finished with professional butchers block food safe oil. (Happy to varnish / wax or French polish if you aren’t intending to use it for food preparation).

The block is on average 55 mm deep end grain solid oak top made by lamination of over 50 strips of aged oak. The oak is extremely hard wearing and will last a life time if regularly oiled. Any marks caused by usage over time can be sanded out and oil applied. The block has been picture framed in oak stained in a walnut stain.

Dowling joints have been used for an authentic look and to allow for the natural movement of wood.

Drawer with brass cup handle and brass screws made with sliding soft close draw arms.

At each end of the block are chrome handles that double as towel holders. There are two storage shelves.

On heavy duty non marking castors with locking wheels. I can provide and fit self levelling castors for customers with uneven floors. Please ask for cost.

The size is 92 cm high and 53cm square at the butchers block.
