Cervical Dilation Training Tool for Educational Purposes. 

This cervical dilation tool is a fun and educational tool that is designed for nurses, doulas, midwives, and birth attendants to help clients visualize their cervical changes.

It's also a great way to explain how subjective cervical checks can be. What is my hard stretch to a 9, maybe your version of an 8. Does it mean defeat?

No. It just means my fingers are wider/longer/thinner/shorter. It's helping in reducing the focus on that 'magical' number -- it doesn't mean much on its own, does it?

Rings can flip and turn to show different angles. It can also be useful for developing muscle memory for cervical checks. The back and front feel different so you can flip one ring and it creates a guide for your finger to "trace".

Lightweight and compact so it's a great tool to pack up to use at your next childbirth education class. I came up with this idea after lugging around a lovely - yet large - cervical dilation board made of wood. I travel light, and this palm-sized guide makes it easy to pull out at a childbirth class, or doula session. This is my own design, made in Canada.

Throw it in your doula bag, midwifery bag, or even just leave it at your nurse's station to play with. Added bonus ** it acts as a fidget toy for the quiet nights (Do those exist?!)

This is a custom 3D printed model, using PLA filament.
