This bridge has been built in our shop and weathered with our own non toxic, odorless stain.  It is built out of poplar wood.

It comes to you in 3 pieces as shown. The wood is stained before assembly thus there are no hot spots..

It cannot be assembled incorrectly and assembly is simple and will only take a few minutes although it will need to be glued together.

The best way to assemble this bridge is to use a length 0f wood or better yet a piece of aluminum tubing that is `1" square and the length should be around at least three quarters the length of the bridge.  It stands 8-1/2" high from the ground to the top of the stringers.  It is 64" long from the outside of one abutment to the outside of the other at the opposite end of the bridge.

It ships in three pieces in one package and is shipped insured.

This bridge is made from 1/4" square wood and 1/16 x 1/4 flat stock and is built on jigs which make it exactly the same dimensions throughout.  It is a prototypical structure and 5 pole bents are used which were by far the most popular bent used in the days of steam..

Clearances under each deck bridge is 17-5/8" side to side and 5" from ground to underside of the deck bridge.

When the buyer assembles the three pieces together You only need to glue the deck bridge to the bents that are color coded to insure correct assembly..  Do so by gluing the ends, of the deck bridge, (both top and bottom) to each bent assembly at all points of contact..  This can most accurately be done by a straight edge 1" Square that runs the length of the entire bridge fitted between the stringers on top of the bridge..  This will insure your bridge is flat across the top and straight.  Be careful not to get glue onb the straight edge.  If you cant find anything that will suffice, you can purchase a piece of 1" Square aluminum tubing at Lowes or most lumber stores.

This is a True O Scale Bridge build and assembled on Jigs to insure accuracy in scale and to insure it is pleasing to the eye.
