Full metal (AL) monocoque body

Conventional spinning reels have a body and body cover supporting both ends of the drive gear, which is secured with screws at several points. In order to further improve accuracy and rigidity, the monocoque body eliminates the body cover, and a high-precision plate is screwed directly into the body to secure it. This improved the gear support precision, as well as rigidity and airtightness. Furthermore, the space previously taken up by the screws was utilized to increase the size of the drive gears. The term "monocoque body" means "mono" (one) and "coque" (shell). The CALDIA SW is lightweight against a background of sufficient rigidity, and has achieved a balance with an eye on the target of each reel size.
