Here's a c.1973 Ibanez 754 Jumbo, made in Japan. This is a pretty rare model, only made for a couple of years I think (1973-75), in Nagoya. It's a copy of the Gibson Everly Bros as you can see from the characteristic double pickguard and star inlays and dates from the era before Gibson and the others started muscling in on the Japanese market to prevent such blatant 'homages'. This is the mahogany backed version. Not as pretty or as decorated as the maple-backed 754M but a better sound in my opinion. Lovely sunburst finish, nice mahogany on the back, and all original. There is some fretwear and a little grooving on the lower frets but nothing that affects playability. There's also a bit of wear to the fingerboard but nothing too serious. The fretboard could do with a clean or polish but I've left it to give the new owner the option. There are no cracks or breaks and the guitar is in structurally great condition. No pickup and has never had one. There are a few smll marks on the top but it's in great condition for 50!

Rich deep sound, great for accompaniment and
