Antique Porcelain Decorative Basket Centerpiece Bowl with two Putti Cherubs; and applied 3-D pink; peach and yellow Roses and foliage. Hand-painted. Impressed number ‘262’

Maximum length = 9” inches long (23cm)

Maximum height = 5 1/2” inches (14cm)

The basket is clean; and presents well; but has some historic issues: The cherub with yellow trim has a restored right arm (crudely re-glued; see last photo) a chipped left foot and a small glaze flake to a wing tip. The cherub with lilac trim has a glaze flake on the back if one wing (photo no: 21 showing) and both have lost whatever they may have held in their empty left hands; (??? Not immediately obvious) There are no missing roses; and only one missing leaf (on the rim) but there are age related nibbles and petal chips on some of the petals and leaves; (have photographed from all angles; the worst is a pink rose; but on the underside; see photos 16, 17 & 18) Age related gold gilt rub wear to the rim and embossed handle.

I’ve made it sound so negative! It actually looks lovely; but I like to give completely honest descriptions!
