Vintage US Cincinnati Tool Co 4" G Clamp No 530-4

A very rare early vintage US made Cincinnati Tool Co. G clamp.

The Cincinnati Tool Co. was founded in 1877. In 1901 it was located in Cincinnati, OH and operated by E.H. Hargrave. the Cincinnati Tool Company, Hargrave Company manufactured masonary and other chisels, drill bits and a wide variety of clamps. In 1925, the name was changed to Hargrave Co.

This one is in fantastic condition with little evidence of wear. It has lovely distinctive two piece wing handle and on one side  CINCINNATI TOOL CO. MADE IN U.S.A. Arma Steel cast into the frame. It also has a circle with an 'H' in the middle - Hargrave? On the reverse, it has 4in MAXIMIN CLAMP No 530-4 and TESTED cast into the frame.

These are made of top quality steel and very heavy duty. The thread is in great condition and it's complete with movable jaw, so could easily be put back into use.

Approx. size:
Length: 8" (20 cm)
Jaw capacity: 4" (10cm)

All I have done is gently cleaned and oiled this clamp.

A rare survivor! Ideal for the collector, carpenter, woodworker, or man cave prop. I'd keep it just for the cast typography!

Thanks for looking!
