Wendt und Kuhn (W.u.K.) began in 1915 in Eastern Germany. Blossom Kinder (Child) series was introduced in 1929. Grunhainichen Dot angels were introduced in 1923. W.u.K. was renamed VEB Werk-Kunst when Nationalized in 1972 and often sold with Expertic general logo that covered many Nationalized wood crafters, and then re-privatized in 1990 with original W.u.K name.
