ANTIQUE FRENCH JEWEL CASKET Sacre Couer jewellery box ring proposal

A gorgeous antique French jewel casket which dates to the late 19th/early 20the century era.  

The lid has an image of the Sacre Couer Cathedral in Paris.  

Sacre Couer means Sacred Heart, so this could make a unique box for a wedding or engagement ring.

Condition:-  signs of age and use, but still very functional.  The image on the lid is tatty. The metal has an aged patina.  It stands nice and level even though the legs are not straight.  On close inspection there is a chip to the glass on the right side panel at the bottom, not very noticeable.  Overall a lovely item that displays well and is a great way to display a special piece of jewellery.

 Size:-  75mm long by 50mm wide by 65mm tall.
