The PD-301-X is a compact slot-in CD player with a Wide FM tuner and a USB port for USB memory playback. The CD drive, the heart of the CD player, is equipped with a slot-in CD drive mechanism that has a proven track record in professional-use equipment. In addition to being a simple, high-quality CD player, it can also be used as a CD transport in combination with a D/A converter, thanks to its coaxial and optical digital outputs. The front USB port can be used to connect a USB memory stick for playback of WAV, AAC, MP3, and WMA files. The built-in FM tuner also supports Wide FM (FM complementary broadcasting), which broadcasts AM radio programs on FM broadcast frequencies.

■Cautions for using a slot-in CD drive
Do not use discs with cracks, dust, warped discs, imported discs, or discs with labels or stickers attached, as they may cause equipment damage.
Do not attach labels, etc. to discs. Do not use discs with cellophane tape, rental CD stickers, etc. that have been removed, or with glue sticking out from stickers, etc. If you put the disc on the machine as it is, it may become impossible to eject the disc or it may cause a malfunction.
Use an oil-based felt-tip pen when writing anything on the label side of the disc. Using a ballpoint pen or other pen with a hard tip may damage the disc surface, making playback impossible.
Never use commercially available stabilizers for CDs. It may prevent playback or cause malfunction.
Do not use CDs with special shapes, such as heart-shaped or octagonal CDs, as they may cause malfunction of the equipment.
TEAC PD-301-X Caution
When removing a disc from the case, hold the disc by the outer edge of the case with your hand while pressing down on the center of the case. Do not touch the signal recording surface with your hand.
If a disc does not fit properly, for example, if it gets stuck, do not force it in. (Forcing a disc in may damage the product.)
Special discs that do not conform to CD standards, such as copy control CDs and Dual Discs, may not play properly. The operation and sound quality when using special discs with this unit are not guaranteed. If you have any problem with playback of special discs, please contact the manufacturer of the relevant disc.
