A very pretty pattern by O'Hara Glass and not seen too often.  The pattern is called Crown Jewel.    Made ca. 1888.   At well over 100 years of age it's a true antique.  This is the clears colorless 7" tall and 9" x 9" square.  This is a rather large and heavy compote.  The pattern has very crisp and pointed edges which has made very susceptible to chipping over the many years of use.  Don't let the minor damage shy you away from this one.  It's a gorgeous piece and the light refraction is brilliant.  It's in good condition. It has a few small chips but nothing major and does not detract from this beautiful and scarce compote.  See all photos.    Any unusual white or dark spots in the photos are from camera glare.  This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home.   63842420144
