Here for auction is a 1932 pressed etching from the the series of twenty etchings entitled The Bi-Centennial Pageant of George Washington, published by the George Washington Memorial Association, New York City. I have a number of these and all are hand signed and numbered by the artists. This one being offered is by and signed in pencil by William Auerbach-Levy, numbered 5 in the series and entitled: "Washington’s Courtship.  The young widow, Martha Dandridge Custis, and the gallant Colonel, recently returned from a trip to the Ohio country, shown in a beautiful Virginia garden.  The paper measures approx 14.75 x 19.5" and has its watermarks. The pressed image measures 9 7/8 x 13,5".   This was never framed and has been kept in its archival sleeve for many years. The paper measures approx 19.5 x 14.75" and was mounted on a piece of hardboard of which the backside is in itself quite interesting. The colors are great and the piece is wonderful. I have a number of these up for auction and will happily combine shipping if so desired...

I offer this as found and as shown and have done my best to describe it.  Please read all of my description and look at all of the images as they are an important part of the description.  I do not profess to be an expert about all of the items that I offer for auction.    Please ask any and all questions as all sales are final. Check my other auctions and feedback. I quote exact shipping charges. I will add a tracking number for your safety and convenience at no charge.  I pack well and ship usually the next day. I am only able to ship to the confirmed address that comes up on your ebay page and am not able to change that due to ebay regulations. I apologize but I am not able to ship any lanterns or camp stoves out of the country due to ebay regulations...

I expect payment within 48 hours and my ebay program automatically files nonpaying bidder status when that time elapses.  No offense but ebay takes their percentage immediately upon the close of auction. If you are Buying It Now or I have accepted an offer, then I would expect payment at that time  and I thank you for that.

My shipping works the following way: I measure and weigh the item. I then plug those numbers in and ebay calculates the exact cost at the least expensive way, to your zipcode. I use USPS and Fed Ex, whichever works best.  I don't charge for packing nor handling.

If you need to cancel your bid, please don't ask me to do that for you. Often times I am not near my computer. It is easier for you to cancel your own bid with no problems from me nor ebay.

I will ship worldwide, I am however enrolled in ebays Global Shipping Program and if your country is included, then you can easily find the shipping costs by checking your ebay page. I am not able to. For all out of country buyers I will only ship with ebays global shipping program as the tracking # works all the way to your door and the item is insured. Otherwise, tracking stops at the border of the USA.   If shipped out of country, I cannot be liable for any unknown duty or foreign charges as well as losses.  I accept only paypal and am great with communication. Thanks for looking and best of luck with this auction...
