A fascinating piece of history, this is a wooden carving of Nandi the bull of the Hindu god Shiva.  It's naively made, giving it a folk art charm.

It measures 26cm in height. It has a nice patina and areas of original paint which has worn over the years. An excellent piece for the collector.
