• Click 'Settings' on the car screen -> Click 'Wi-Fi', select your Wi-Fi or phone's hotspot, and enter the password -> Ready to play online audio and videos after completing the internet connection.

How to play?

Note: Please connect the wireless CarPlay adapter to the same home's Wi-Fi or phone's personal hotspot as your phone/tablet/laptop.

1. Mirror Phone to Car: Plug the adapter into the car -> Click 'Super Cast' on the screen -> Click the button in the upper right corner -> Connect the magic box to the network.

Mirror Phone to TV: Use an HDMI to HDMI cable (package not included), plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the CarPlay adapter and TV. -> Plug the USB A to C cable (package included) into the CarPlay adapter and the USB A port of your TV. -> Select the right HDMI channel to enter the UI. -> Use a mouse or a remote (package not included) to double-tap 'Cast' at the bottom of the screen -> Click the button in the upper right corner -> Connect the magic box to the network.

2. Please find below on how to install for your specific device:

• For iOS devices: back to your iPhone's/iPad's main screen, click the 'screen mirror' function on your device, then select the 'Z3 BOX-XX' (the name is the same as the upper left corner) to connect then start the mirroring.
• For Android devices: open the apps you want to mirror, click screen casting functions on the app, select the 'Z3 BOX-XX' (the name is the same as the upper left corner) to connect then start the mirroring.

Note:

1. Android devices only support casting some video apps with screen-casting functions.
2. Under the HDMI cinema mode, iOS and Mac OS devices don't support mirroring all the apps that have subscription services due to HDCP copyright protection, like N*etflix, Hulu, Spotify, Sky Go, HBO, Directv, Disney+, Zoom, etc.

How to Install this Android Auto & Apple CarPlay Wireless Adapter?

1. Plug the USB-C cable into the magic box, and the other USB-A/C end into the car's USB port.
2. Select the "Apple CarPlay" or "Android Auto" button depending on your phone to enter the connection interface.
3. Turn on your phone's WLAN and Bluetooth, then connect your phone to the Carplay adapter's Bluetooth (Z3 Box-XXX).
4. Click 'Pair' When the Bluetooth pairing request appears, then click 'Allow' Contacts and Favorites Sync to enter the Carplay (or Android Auto) interface.

Compatibility issues:

• The magic box carplay adapter is compatible with most cars equipped with wired Carplay, please check whether your car has a USB port marked with a CarPlay logo or an image of a smartphone.
• Comes with USB-A & USB-C cables, the magic box is widely compatible with cars with USB-A or USB-C interfaces.
• iPhone and Android phone versions must be iOS/ Android 10.0 or above.
• If your car is equipped with integrated wireless Carplay, please check whether your car has a USB port that supports wired CarPlay for data transmission.
• Not suitable for some cars with built-in wireless CarPlay connectivity, like BMW, Te*sla.
• Applicable models include but are not limited to those in the list, if you are not sure, please send us a message or post a question.

Note: If your car supports both wireless CarPlay and wired CarPlay, and you have successfully connected wireless CarPlay before, before using this magic carplay box, please forget your device: Go to the iPhone's Setting -> Bluetooth -> Find the Bluetooth name of the OEM radio -> select 'Forget This Device' -> Wait for the magic carplay box to start on then connect to its Bluetooth.

Issues You May Concern

1. Why is it not plug-and-play the next time?

Since the default preferred startup option of the system is android, please set it according to the following path: General Settings--Starup options--CarPlay or Android Auto (depending on your device). After setting, this wireless carplay adapter will auto-connect after the first use.

2. Will it work on my car?

This wireless carplay adapter ONLY can work with cars equipped with wired CarPlay, please check whether your car has a USB port marked with a CarPlay logo or an image of a smartphone.

3. Why doesn't the wireless carplay adapter connect to my car?

(1) Please check whether your car supports wired CarPlay.

(2) Please check the USB port you plugged into is a USB data transmission port that supports wired CarPlay.

(3) Please forget the regular Bluetooth & Wi-Fi connection between your car and phone before the wireless CarPlay connection.

(4) Not suitable for some cars with built-in wireless CarPlay connectivity, like B*MW, Te*sla.

4. If I don't have a WiFi or hotspot, can I watch online videos on Netflix?

It must be connected to a WiFi or hotspot to play online videos from Netflix, YouTube, World Live TV. But you can play offline video files by downloading them to a U-disk for playback without a network connection.
