Design: Theodore Karner (Hohenberg an der eger 1884 - 1966 Munchen) for Rosenthal porcelain Manufactory.
Karner was a German porcelain sculptor and animal sculptor.
From 1905 to 1918 he worked permanently as a sculptor at the Nymphenburg porcelain factory in Munich, and between 1918 - 1934 and around 1953 at the Rosenthal porcelain factory in Selb.
Kärner was appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In 1937, 1938, 1940 and 1941 he took part in the Great German Art Exhibition in the “Haus der Deutschen Kunst” in Munich.
