Hall of Fame Information (From Hoophall.com)
In the summer of 2004, a young man from Argentina led his countrymen past the United States, past Italy, past Serbia and Montenegro, past China, past Greece to stand atop the podium at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Manu Ginobili – the slashing, penetrating, fearless embodiment of a basketball stuntman – torched the United States for 29 points in the semifinal round of the Games to set up a showdown with Italy. Ginobili rose to the occasion again to collect 16 points, six rebounds, six assists, and one gold medal. For Argentina, and for the rest of the basketball world, this was a reminder to anyone watching that the stakes across international waters would continually be raised. Back in the States, Ginobili spent his entire NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs, where the NBA’s 2008 Sixth Man of the Year won four NBA championships, including three in a four-year stretch from 2003 to 2006. Ginobili, along with Tony Parker and Tim Duncan, formed the core of a Spurs dynasty that lasted more than a decade and encompassed over 800 regular season wins.

Building An NBA HOF Autographed Card Collection? / About Doctor Leap
Because the NBA Hall of Fame was not created until 1959, unlike MLB, collectors are able to find modern cards that were designed, autographed, and certified by major card designers. Based on my research, there are only two HOF players that played in the NBA, that do not have a modern-day autographed card that was designed specifically to be autographed. So, collectors can build a legacy collection of modern cards that feature the autograph of NBA HOF players. Moreover a collection of this type can grow in size and importance over time as new members are elected each year.

In addition to being autographed, most of the cards I offer will have some other feature: limited numbering, low population, or a game worn uniform patch. As an avid collector I find the modern methods employed by card designers similar to the high-end art market - they create value by creating limited runs of cards. Most of the cards I sell will have graded populations of less than 10. Compare that to the Jordan Fleer #57 rookie card that PSA reports a graded inventory of nearly 25,000 (as of Feb 2023). In addition, these unique pieces of sports memorabilia are designed on high-end card stock, and the autographs are supervised and authenticated. More important for me as a collector, they’re signed in a way that’s attractive versus taking a card to a show, having it signed, which is typically done in some type of imperfect way that conflicts with the image on the card. Some of the cards I offer are from players that are not in the Hall of Fame yet but are projected by basketball-reference.com to be future first-ballot members. If this is something you’re interested in – please continue to check my inventory as I constantly add new cards. Feel free to message me with any questions. I love to discuss the cards I offer.

I have multiple cards for sale. Some are currently in the eBay vault. My vault cards are priced $400 and up – because they are in the eBay vault, this is the most secure card transaction you can make. All my cards for sale under $400 are in my possession, would be shipped by me, but are covered by eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee.
