Original 1860s CDV photo of Greeley, shown reading a book, with his hat on the floor beside the chair. A pretty scarce or even rare pose that I don't recall seeing before. Backmarked Churchill & Denison, Albany, New York.  4" x 2.5". Some age-related foxing, spots.. a few tiny nicks. Overall in very good antique condition.
