Description of item for sale: This beautiful tantalus is from France and dates to the late 1800's early 1900's. This piece is carved in black forest style featuring a bird in flight with woodland themed leaves and flowers. It's made from solid walnut finished to a warm medium walnut color. There is a complete set of 16 glasses, and 4 decanters that are in excellent condition and free of chips and cracks. There is a key and the lock works as it should. This tantalus is in very good antique condition with no damage of any significance. Dimensions when closed: 17" wide, 14" high and 13" deep. (438)
