Dated 1876 Little Red Riding Hood Scrapbook Actor’s Theatre Notices Pictures. This belonged to William J Sully, a theatre & vaudeville actor from Boston who worked 1870-1920 era. This wonderful album is marked Patent March 1876 and has beautiful embossed front cover Little Red Riding Hood & The Wolf. I have shown almost the entire contents in my photos. It shows pasted newspaper clippings reviews of the theatre plays Sully acted in and other ephemera including and old menu and engravings illustrations. A fascinating theatre time capsule relic. Guaranteed a genuine 1880 era authentic original item. Has normal age related wear and toning, some loosening at the hinge, overall good solid complete condition - see detailed photos.
From the estate of actor William Sully & Nellie Germon who worked in Vaudeville Burlesque and theatre late 19th century to early 20th century era. He was from Boston and had Broadway New York acting credits. He was married to Nellie Germon who was one of the famous Germon family of actors. Her sister was Effie Germon who has a unique history involving John Wilkes Booth. I acquired a large lot of items and ephemera that had descended from William Sully including hand written lyrics and jokes by both Sully and Nellie Germon.
