The impact we make
Labre's Hope
In his second year of University, founder Aaron Probert heard a homeless woman's story whose usual spot was across the road from him. After hearing this, Aaron wrote his dissertation based on a business model and decided to make it come to life. He placed soap and other cosmetics at the centre of revenue streams because he wanted a solution everyone could join in on - so, he trained how to formulate cosmetics and studied skincare. This led to Labre's Hope coming to life after a three year journey.

Description
Blood Orange and Botanicals is a White Kaolin and Red French Clay swirled soap infused with three pure essential oils to give you an uplifting, citrus scent. This is all thanks to the trio of Blood Orange, known for being a strong antioxidant, Litsea Cubeba, known for helping you to relax and unwind, and Patchouli which is a natural skin healer that helps people with dry skin. We use two Natural colourants in our soap - White Kaolin and Red French Clay. White Kaolin is the gentlest exfoliator which helps reveal new and refreshed skin. Red French Clay is known for detoxifying the skin and will leave you feeling refreshed, toned and rejuvenated. Our handmade soaps also contain all of their natural glycerine made during the production process which will help moisture from your wash routine be effectively absorbed into the deepest layers of your skin.
What is eBay for Change?
We’ve have partnered with Social Enterprise UK and the World Fair Trade Organisation to develop eBay for Change—a programme designed to support the growth of the social enterprise sector. Every purchase from an eBay for Change social enterprise will have a direct positive impact on supporting disadvantaged communities—whether that’s providing job or training opportunities to people who are distant from the labour market, tackling social problems like homelessness and exclusion, or improving people’s life chances, or supporting enviromental action.
