Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Michel Corneille the Elder' after 'Domenico Campagnola'. Michel Corneille the Elder (1602-1664) was a French painter and engraver from Orleans. He was probably a student of Vouet and married to his niece. Domenico Campagnola (ca. 1494-1564).

Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. This print shows a group of people in the countryside making music, singing and playing card games symbolizing 'Abundance' as illustrated by the female nude in the right foreground holding a cornucopia.
Condition: Very good, given age. A little paper loss in lower left corner, reinforced using contemporary paper backed with acid free archival tape. A few small tears in lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
