MASSIVE COLLECTION  OF VERY VINTAGE FILMS AND REWIND INSPECTION TABLE  FOR SALE

an opportunity has arisen to purchase a complete collection of 16mm and 35mm films approx 100  thats min in cans  This is the entire collection of an old film company that were working on a series They Made News, this is complete negs/sound reels and a lot of married prints.  There is recording of the famous cameramen from the turn of the centure up to the late 1970s who worked for the main film newsreels, inlcuding Fox New  //  Paramount news //  Pathe news and many others that made history with their famous shots of disasters etc, I have not checked these but opened many of the cans and the films are fine.

I am seeking to sell this as a job lot with a couple of 16mm projectors, 1 35mm projector needs attention splicer, rewind arms, 16mm editors  a complete collection needing a lot of tlc the films themselves are extremly rare in themselves, I have to sell quickly as im moving and no space at all in new premises  (small flat).

I am happy for people to view this lot in advance of any sale, and happy to project some of the film when required.

 I have put this lot as buy now instead of auction so theres  a more relaxed  time to view and make the right decision, you wont be disapointed,  as im having  a big clear out, so theres a lot of items going here.

The 35mm projector, on view is not much bigger than a 16mm and holds 5000ft reels it needs a service and new belt otheriwse good to go. that alone is worth 1500 working.   (other projectors are availble at extra cost.
