■Grounding electrode with platinum square tip
Improved wear resistance and, together with the iridium alloy center electrode, improved ignitability. The shortened tip enables a tapered shape and secures a larger space volume.

■Short Type Seismic Grounding Electrode
Shortened electrode length and optimized cross-sectional shape increase the cross-sectional coefficient while reducing mass. This contributes to improved strength and durability of the grounding electrode.

■Thermo Edge
Carbon buildup caused by prolonged idling and various combustion environments, including air ratios, can degrade insulation and cause misfires. By placing a thermo-edge at the tip of the insulator, micro-discharges are generated to burn off accumulated carbon and ensure constant insulation.

■Auxiliary spark gap
Narrows the gap between the insulator at the tip and the ground electrode to generate a discharge, which, like the thermo edge, suppresses carbon deposition and prevents fogging and cussing.
