This listing is for the following set of MCM New Yorker cartoonist plates.  The comic artist is Peter Arno, and they were made by The Paden City Pottery Company in the 1950's.  Peter Arno appeared in the New Yorker from 1925-1968.   One plate is signed, bernad.  Bernard and other New York artists produced these plates based on the New Yorker comics.  The diameter of the plates is 6 3/8".

Plate 1: "BY JOVE, I'D ALMOST DIP INTO CAPITAL FOR HER."
Plate 2: "YOUNG WOMAN, DO YOU REALIZE MY TIME IS WORTH THIRTY DOLLARS A MINUTE? 

The plates are in good vintage condition.  Some wearing of the edges plates (see photo 6), and a small groove on the "Young Woman.... plate near the man's butt (see photo 3).  See all photos for overall condition.  
Your plates are mailed to you wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by packing, and shipped to you in a sturdy box.
