Description - Splendid vintage 1950s good size solid silver cigarette/ cigar box of rectangular form with a slightly hinged lid and thumb piece
lid embellished with engine turned decoration with a central vacant cartouche and leather bound underside
interior has fine cedar lining, plus a wood divider.
Fully hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "K" for the year 1959 and the maker's mark "B & Co" which is W I Broadway & Co.
Condition - In good condition, there is some denting to the rear side, a bruise to the lid, and a few light dings (please see end photographs)

decoration is crisp
interior wood in excellent undamaged condition
