Vintage sterling silver candle snuffer/extinguisher originally manufactured by Gorham Silver or Gorham Manufacturing Company, believed to be made some time in the mid-1900's. This candle snuffer is in the 760 pattern, as shown by the hallmark on the rod that reads "Gorham Sterling 760" (SEE PHOTO).

The candle snuffer is made of sterling silver and has a bell-shaped snuffer at the end of the rod, with a black handle at the other end that is black. It measures approximately 9 3/4 inches and weighs approximately 18 grams with handle.

Ideal for use as a candle snuffer/extinguisher or for collection purposes to add to your lovely collection of Gorham's silver or sterling silver products.
