The Jambu tree is an evergreen that grows up to 3 meters tall. It is a juicy crisp fruit with a faintly sweet taste and fragrance. The plant is easy to grow and tolerates poor soils. Makes an attractive, wide-spreading shade tree as well as a compact and bushy container fruiting plant.

The leaves can grow up to 10 inches long and the fruits are bell-shaped. A 40-foot tall tree with bell-shaped fruit that can have a greater than 40-foot spread is quite the statement piece for any yard or garden.

How to plant plants 

• Separate the fresh seeds .

• Soak the separated seeds in water for 24 hours.

• Place wet seeds in nursery pots (1 seeds per hole).

• Do not expose yourself to too much sunlight.

• Plant small plants when the ground is suitable for planting.

• Apply a moderate amount of water.
