What is Shilajit?
Shilajit comes from centuries-old decomposed organic plant material that has been preserved by the intense pressures of high Himalayan rock layers. The soft, heavy shilajit resin oozes out of the Himalayan rocks and is carefully purified. The end result is a mineral-rich powder that is "very rich in fulvic acid," which are soil-based microorganisms that contribute to "nutrient bioavailability" or our body's ability to utilize the nutrients we eat. Not to mention that fulvic acid is also "known by its strong antioxidant actions."
