1995 Derrick Thomas Kansas City Chiefs Wilson Staff Away Authentic Jersey 46

Outside of Lawrence Taylor, probably the greatest pass rushing linebacker who ever lived. Nicknamed D.T. He was a rentless edge rusher for the Kansas City Chiefs for a decade. A perennial Pro Bowler (9X) and All-Pro (5X). Derrick Thomas wreaked havoc on opposing offenses throughout the 90s. He is still the record holder for most sacks in a single game at 7.

A tragic car crash rendered him a paraplegic and he passed away two weeks later at the age of 33 in 1999. He would later be posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009. Like a comet, Derrick wasn't with us for a long time but when he was, he shined his brightest.

Shown here in a Wilson NFL Pro Line retail authentic run of Thomas's home Chiefs jersey from 1995. Complete with stitched names and numbers. Wilson was the Chiefs jersey supplier during the 90s till they went to Reebok in ‘97. The Wilson Staff logo is year specific to 1995. Also comes with the correct era jock tag and made in the USA.

Size is roughly a 46 which is an adult large. The white number size tag is missing from the lower right jock tag but the jersey measures 31" from top to bottom and 21" from pit to pit. In great shape for being almost 30 years old with no noticeable flaws.

This is an awesome addition for any 90s collector. And with the Kansas City winning Super Bowl LVIII this will be an essential get for any Chiefs fan to add to their collection during their now budding dynasty.
