Cassette deck and player with microphone input jack with echo function for karaoke and recording to USB memory device.
Features
Recording and playback to USB memory device
Recording from CD/cassette tape/external input device to USB flash drive (MP3 files) or from CD/USB flash drive (MP3 format)/external input device to cassette tape is possible. The USB flash drive stores the data in automatically generated folders (CD/LINE/TAPE) for each source, allowing easy digital-to-analog conversion without the need for a PC.
Only music CD format (CD-DA) is supported.
Equipped with a microphone input
A microphone input terminal is provided on the front panel. Playback/recording is possible not only with the connected microphone input alone, but also by mixing with audio from a CD/cassette/USB flash drive.
Audio mixed from a CD and microphone cannot be recorded to a USB memory device.
Echo effect function
This function applies an echo to the sound of a connected microphone. With the AD-850-SE and a microphone, you can easily enjoy karaoke.
An amplifier and speakers are separately required to enjoy karaoke.
What is echo?
Reverberation is added to the original sound. By mixing multiple sounds that have been delayed by various times with natural-like time-decay characteristics, reverberation like that of a hall or studio is created.
Cassette deck section with basic performance
The cassette section is a two-head/one-way specification for recording and playback. Compatible with cassette tapes in normal, chrome, and metal (playback only) positions. Basic performance features include +/-10% variable pitch control and timer record/playback functions.
CD player section compatible with CD-R/RW that can also play MP3 files
The CD player section can play music CDs as well as CD-R/RWs containing MP3 files, displaying ID3 tags and file names* during MP3 playback. Various playback modes are provided, including program playback, shuffle playback, and repeat playback (single/all/program).
File names are displayed in half-width alphanumeric characters (1-byte characters). If double-byte characters (2-byte characters) such as Japanese are used, they will not be displayed correctly.
Versatile USB flash drive recording and playback functions
In addition to a variety of playback modes such as continuous playback, shuffle playback, and program playback, a repeat playback function that can be used in combination with the playback mode is provided.
Convenient timer function
Timer recording/playback of cassettes and timer playback of CDs and USB memory devices are possible.
A commercially available timer is required.
